Happy 11th anniversary to this show...I can't believe it's been 11 years, why does time fly so fast? Queensryche & Halford opened this show, they did a great job. I had floor seats to this one, this was the show that sold out in 2 hours, so I was very lucky to grab a seat! Face value was $49 + a $6 service charge...venue was Madison Square Garden.

Ever since the tour last year I'm considerably less envious of those who got to see this tour. Dream of Mirrors and Sign of the Cross are the only two things I'm really jealous of at this point.

I pretty much liked that set. Saw them on the second to last date of the tour (three nights at Brixton Academy in London, I was at the middle one).

My favourite set of recent years though is definitely the first leg of the Final Frontier tour. Which didn't have a London date on it, so I didn't see them. I wish they were still playing that set now.

$55 for floor on the garden? That's basically what nosebleeds cost now.

Great show. I am not as enamoured with most of that BNW material anymore, but a memorable show for sure... It was the first time I had seen them since the NPFTD tour.

I also saw them 8/15 in MI and 8/17 in NJ that year. :rocker:

I was at the August 27th, 2000 show of that tour. I'll never forget the incredible rant Bruce gave after some people tried to start a mosh pit with 99% of the audience cheering him on! :rocker: :metal: :rocker:

Incredible set. Probably why Rock in Rio is my favorite live album.

I saw the show 1 week later in Camden. Great set as I recall. Halford was amazing, and should have had Queensryche's slot.

$55 for floor on the garden? That's basically what nosebleeds cost now.

Nearly twice that here for upper tier seats.

This was a great show.

I remember that the lights were out for a long time after Sanctuary and everyone was going nuts because RTTH was next....then the lights came on and everyone started boo'ing!

Gotta love NYC!
