If this is correct, I commend them for stepping out of the box and playing quite a few tracks that aren't "safe". I'm pleasantly surprised by the material from the first two albums.

As a side note, don't be stunned if this list is fake. I'm a bit doubful about its validity based on the absence of Wrathchild.

I must add that the most important question of the night is whether Bruce did the bad Sting impersonation at the end of Drifter that once was a fabled part of Maiden tradition.

I like the setlist, but I am kind of suprised.

My thoughts....

Setlist: I was expecting them to play Wrathchild, Children of the Damned, Killers, and 22 Acacia Avenue instead of Prowler, Charlotte the Harlot, Remember Tomorrow, Another Life, and Running Free. But I am really happy they added Murders in the Rue Morgue and Drifter.

Length: If in fact that is the full setlist, I am really suprised that they played only 85 minutes for the European shows. I thought they would get two hours like everybody anticipated. Then again, Maiden are getting old. People shouldn't whine about it though, Maiden are giving us a special treat.

As for Ozzfest, I expect them to toss out one or two of those songs, probably Charlotte the Harlot being one of them, and Drifter if Bruce does Sting imitation part. But I'd rather have Running Free tossed out of the list because Drifter sounded amazing on Beast Over Hammersmith, especially when Bruce sang those escalating falsettos. I am positive that the setlist will be 75 minutes long.

I am most looking foward to Where Eagles Dare, Phantom of the Opera, Revelations, Murders in the Rue Morgue, and of course, Hallowed Be Thy Name.

First of all, complaining simply has no place here. This honestly blew me away, and any qualms about it is being a little too selfish. Did anyone truly expect them to pull off fuckin Charlotte The Harlot, Murders In The Rue Morgue, and Another Life? You want surprise then there sure as hell are some. Playing Revelations again was an excellent idea, and Remember Tomorrow is another amazing choice.

The setlist wasn't bad. I'm quite shocked there wasn't either "Wrathchild" or "Killers". Kudos to Maiden for putting together a pretty good assortment of songs. A little bit short list, but this list rocks :rockdevil :rockdevil

Short  17 songs buddy (18 counting Ides Of March)....more than they've done since BNW tour. 85-90 minutes is standard for a Maiden gig anyways, so I don't see why htis is such an abberation. The reason on tours such as the DOD tour where they played only 16 songs and still made it to 90 minutes is because those contained a ton of epics and longer songs. I think Maiden might even add in Wrathchild (which I am shocked, in a good way, that they did not choose to play it even though I love the song) or at a stretch even Killers.

I will go so far as to say this is Maiden's best setlist since Virtual XI tour.
