I'm actually really surprised they're playing Pittsburgh. I won't be there, but more power to 'em!

Whoever comes up with the routing for these tours needs to be shot in the face.

Seriously, who decided that everyone should tour at the exact same time? At first it was cool, now it's just getting annoying.

from devy's twitter: There will be Canadian dates as well as some very special ny dates announced soon, there's a reason for the current dates :)

Jesus Christ I can't wait to find out about this. I NEED to see Devy again.

If he does any of the DTP albums in their entirety... I would need new pants if I saw him do Addicted.

Damn....looks like I'll be heading to Chicago for the time ever to see a show.

I am going to try to go to this. It really depends on who else is playing Rock and Shock with him.

Actually, possibly not.

If I was to go with, I'd be going with my guitarist, and he may not be able to go. He may have work that night that he can't get out of. I won't kknow till later, but we did plan on going to Chicago if he didn't come to Minnesota. So, hopefully I'll see you there.

Ah I see. You still got awhile to figure everything out. Best of luck to ya ;)

This has been happening for years. I'm not a fan of it either. I'd much, much rather see awesome shows every few weeks for the entire year :bouville: .

Thanks man. I'm really hoping to, if not, it will suck because I wanna hang out with RVP again, but it will just mean I'll have to wait till ext year. Dev is by no means done touring.

I would expect the "special NY dates" will be the same thing as he's doing in London in November.

i.e. four "evening with" shows, each one playing a different album in its entirety.

That would be my guess anyway.

I chilled with him for a bit at the Pittsburgh show. Really nice guy.

I've been friends with him since before Synchestra, but since he hasn't been able to tour here, we've never been able to hang out. So back on the 5th was a great time just hanging out by the bus just shooting the shit like we do over the computer. Great times.

An extra date just got announced for October 8th at Station 4 in St. Paul, and tickets go on sale on my birthday next Friday.

Apparently more shows have been added since this announcement, because I just bought tix to see him in Columbus on Oct. 10. Still no word on the openers though....

The Ocean's presence makes Rock and Shock a lot more appealing. Might go now.

Straight from my good friend, Ryan Van Poederooyen, from a message I sent him

I'm not exactly sure.... I hear Devy follower Dan Weiten's band Omega Experiment were going to open a couple shows, maybe that's the first 3 dates? Just found out 'The Ocean' was opening for us last night! Haha. You find out as quick as I do. Will keep you posted when I hear more...

It's ok, everyone does at one point in time

Haha, no. All I did was put 2 and 2 together. I was starting to think I was wrong. Happily and sadly (on my end since The Ocean will not be in Minnesota) I was right.
