Great set from both bands! I guess QR's set had to be cut short because a 3rd band was squeezed into the bill according to the member on dime who shared the show.

Queensryche's set wasn't cut. That is the standard set they are playing on this tour as they are only a supporting band.

Priest's is the standard set as well. Exactly the same as the one I saw at the beginning of June.

I see both bands again on Saturday. Interestingly, for that event, Priest have been given 2 hours and 15 minutes to play. Their standard set is only 2 hours long, so it will be interesting to see if they add some extra songs, or just don't play for their full time slot.

I wonder how the priest fans reacted to qr's get started.

If I had to guess, I would expect the arena to have been half empty for their set anyway. Anyone who's been paying attention knows they barely play anything good in their current sets.

That and they just aren't that big here. Last time they headlined any shows here at all was a London show back in '07 I think it was, doing the full Mindcrime show for the first time in the UK in a venue which holds just over 2000 people and it was half full at best.

And that's for their most popular show.

Pretty good set from Priest, I would remove Diamonds and Rust and Green Manalishi and replace with Tyrant and Genocide though. As for Queensryche, the UK must really hate them, I saw the Mindcrime II tour in Boise at a 1000 capacity venue and it was sold out. And Boise is no London.
