Just got tickets for August 28th in Westbury, NY. 3 covers in a set list for a band with so many deep, great songs is not okay in my book.
And nothing off my favorite album Tejas... :(

Love ZZ Top. Seen them probably 5-6x. They are definitely a band in need of setlist overhaul. I know alot of people want to see the "hits" but some of the Eliminator stuff could use a little bit of a rest.

Also, how long now have they been opening with those three songs? Seems like it's going on years now.
The inclusion of Pincushion and My Head's In Mississippi is always welcomed though.
Do they not play Tube Snake Boogie anymore or are they just giving it a rest? I'm a bit surprised that's not in there.

Pretty sure it has been years now.
If this was like the show I saw they do like a minute of My Head's In Mississippi and they do My Head's In (Insert City Playing At) and then stop. Although they didn't do Pin Cushion a few months ago when I saw them.
I don't think they've played it in awhile. I think it's been 3-4 years since I've seen them do Tube Snake Boogie which is a shame b/c it's a fun song live.
