Definitely going to this. Got two of the three day passes for just over $50 after service charges. Can't beat that for STP, ZZ Top, and Bret Michaels :D

My bad, edited the post to include a location.

ZZ Top is gopnna be cool as hell to see. Was supposed to see them open for Aerosmith a couple years ago, so I'm excited they're finally back. This'll be my third time seeing STP, as well, super excited :D And seeing Bret Michaels just cuz shit's already paid for. Should be a good weekend. And the fact that ZZ Top is over at 6 is cool, cuz that gives me time to hit a party afterwards

ZZ Top are awesome... however, don't get too excited about seeing them live. They're not that interesting. Saw them twice in recent years. The only interest really is in which deep '70s cuts they'll include amongst the '80s hits each tour. Not that most people in any given ZZ Top crowd cares about those songs, but the band thankfully do.

I saw them October 29th of last year - they were quite good. :allan:

If you said you saw fucking Queen with Freddie Mercury last year, I would not be surprised in the slightest

I know ZZ Top has a lot of classics they could pull out, but I've never been too big on the whole bluesy sound they've got. I enjoy their classic rock hits, so it'll be cool seeing them.
