I saw them at the Forum in May and they slayed. No way I wouldn't see them again next year.
New song sounds... interesting. More like a b-side than a new single, but I'll wait until the final mix is released.

I will be at the London show in February. The new song, plus maybe another one, will be released on the new greatest hits CD.

The version of Mein Land that leaked is a very rough demo that was recorded a few years ago. They are also in the process of putting out a music video for it (the re-recorded version) to be put on their best of to be released in November. Also, where did you hear about a 21 date US tour? I haven't heard anything about that anywhere. That seems like a little bit more than they like to do since the band themselves said they don't like doing big tours of the US any more.

There was an interview with Richard Kruspe on The Gauntlet about a month ago where he mentioned it, but it seems to have been removed, as was the YouTube link for "Mein Land." :eyes:

I'm so fucked
February is the harshest month of the year in terms of weather for us, and here I am attending two Rammstein shows in a row. I'll stand outside in line for an hour or two (possibly begin catching a cold), spend three hours on the rail, melting from the pyro (preferably without a shirt) and then I'll walk outside and get sick.

So apparently there are going to be two different stages, one of which, by the looks of the songs performed on it, is going to be a bit peculiar:
sonne
mein land
keine lust
sehnsucht
asche zu asche
feuer frei
mutter
mein teil
du reichst so gut
links 2 3 4
du hast
haifisch
buch dich (b stage)
mann gegen mann (b stage)
pussy (b stage)
mein hertz brennt
ich will
wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen
engel
amerika

I'd like to see their stage show but I probably won't go all the way to Baltimore for this. Maybe I'll catch them on their farewell tour or something just so I can see the pyro and all the cool stuff.

Hmm, they're playing Philly
I'd check it out I'm just surprised they're playing such a large venue, although once again Id like to state this means they WON'T be doing Mayhem

How large is large? They're playing to 15,000 people in London, and it's not even the only UK date.

for a basketball game it holds 20,444 people(obviously it can hold more for concerts) and these are among the acts that have headlined there:
Metallica
Rush
Van Halen
Kiss
The Rolling Stones
Madonna
Jay-Z
AC/DC
Lady Gaga
acts that are all bigger in the US than Rammstein, very few metal shows even happen here(I saw Pantera there in 2001 and it wasn't exactly full) and this is keeping in mind the last time Rammstein headlined in Philadelphia was at the Electric Factory which holds about 3,000 at absolute capacity(and that's a stretch)

Till (vocalist) said he will be retiring when he is 50 and he is currently 48 plus other members of the band have been hinting that they will be done after the best of tour.
