This is difficult for me, and is definitely gonna change by the end of the year!

1. Dillinger Escape Plan
2. Amon Amarth
3. Terror
4. Fair to Midland
5. Converge

Biggest surprise for me: Fair to midland. Holy fucking shit, this band is amazing live.

Biggest disappointment for me: Rammstein. It was a cool show, but identical in almost every way to their NYC show in December. I just though I would like it a lot more than I did.

AND if you saw either Agalloch or Anaal Nathrakh this year, I hate you.

Awesome list! I saw Warbeast open up Graspop this year

I saw them on that mini tour with Arson Anthem and Haarp and shit all 3 of them blew me away but Warbeast stood just above the rest. And it also helped because their singer grabbed me by the shoulders a couple times and was screaming at me. Good times. Hope to god I can see them again sometime.

I just realized how few shows I've been to this year, and now I'm fucking depressed. :(

Since there are only a few more than five, I guess I'll just go ahead and list all the performances:

Kylesa (Cleveland - support for Metalliance Tour)
Kylesa (Pittsburgh - headliner)
Howl
Red Fang
PRIMUS
Amon Amarth
St. Vitus

...and I would probably rank them from Kylesa (most favorite) to St. Vitus (least favorite), but truly they were all fucking great. The only show which had any technical problems was Kylesa's headliner in Pittsburgh, but the set list was so awesome that I'd still have to rank that show pretty damn high. :fist:

I can fully agree with this list.

I would have listed DEP too, but I got to the Deftones show late and they were on their last song. But I've heard they're phenomenal live.

ATB is one of my favorite bands, they kill live too. I'll be doing an interview with them on October 12th.

Amon Amarth I missed, but I've heard only great things about their show.

Yeah, ATB is great and wonderful guys too. Have fun with the interview.

And yeah both Amon Amarth and DEP completely killed it. DEP in particular, if they weren't doing a supporting set and it was a headlining show they would be #1 for sure.

3) Deicide - First time seeing them, and they sounded great.
2) Terror @ NEMHF - Shame I couldn't film this. Absolutely unreal. Chaos. That's all I can say.
1) Biohazard @NEMHF - So much energy on stage, and they're my 2nd favorite band.
