It's great to see that Autopsy played so much material from Severed Survival, but it would be nice if they played at least one from Mental Funeral too. Also, they need to start playing "Dirty Gore Whore"!

And I would guess that the Cattle Decapitation song you have a question mark for is one of the following: "Tooth Enamel & Concrete", "The Ripe Beneath the Rind", or "Karma.Bloody.Karma".

SHITTY FUCKING BAND

I wouldn't talk shit about them if I were you. Their guitarist can make sure you don't see your favorite band.

WATCH OUT DUDE

You know. I hate to say this, but I feel a bit better now. 9 songs? Shiiiit. Exactly what I feared would happen at Slaughter by the Water. 35 minutes of Autopsy. I don't know why it was so short, but I'm blaming it on Zombie Holocaust.

I love it how on the poster, the logo for the fest looks so much superior to the logos of the bands.

They still were sick as hell. I was disappointed with the short set but I saw it coming. The whole band was on point though, not a beat missed. They were a ton of fun.

Yeah I'm pretty sure 10 minutes of Autopsy is better than most bands full sets. I just don't know how some promoter could give Autopsy less than 40 min. Like, fuck. MDF they played like 20 fucking songs, Chaos in Tejas the incomplete set is still 10 minutes longer than this, and I'm sure every other festival they've played they've gotten an hour long slot. It's just bizarre to me that the local legends who reunite for this amazing fest which name drops the bay area every 5 words get's screwed on their set time. Huge festivals bands get hour slots, and even Rites of Darkness which is smaller than this they get hour slots. It doesn't make sense.

This set is incomplete, I think they had 2 more on the setlist. To be honest, I know exactly what you meant about this festival now. The crowd was detestable, the set up was awkward and it just wasn't a good vibe the whole day. I LOVED the bands that played, but the fest itself was very poor.

I'm not sure if you saw Brittany there, but she went and was talking to me during part of it an apparently Zombie Holocaust payed chicks to walk around wearing ZH shirts. If that is true, holy shit.

Hahaha I think Atomize (local Chicago band) did the same thing when they opened up for Forbidden a little less than a week ago. Freakin pathetic.

Can someone tell me the back story on Zombie Holocaust? Are they like Rose Funeral or something? Just wondering.

Someone in the band puts on Slaughter By The Water and gives their band way more than they deserve.

Skinlab were so bad. Soooo bad. I'd have rather they not replace insanity and ludicra.

I sure hope Insanity dont leave the bill for the NY show.
And Im pretty sure Ludicra just dropped because Ross is touring in Europe with Impaled.

I don't think youre alone in that feeling.
The two of my friends who went both have much more negative reviews than Ryan...

Wait, Autopsy was the headlining band and they STILL only got 40 minutes? I figured with a set that short they had to be playing before Nuclear Assault...

Yeah, those sets are shorter than marquee headliners at Graspop. Even Hairspray got a whole hour
