Both Ashley Simpson and Milli Vanilli had the same thing happen to them and it ruined both of them. Hopefully this is the trifecta!

Seriously how bad of musicians so these clowns have to be to not be able to play 3-chord crap like that? Are they even musicians? Probably not.

Funny, but not really surprising.

Also, the banner above the stage says 2006.

Doesn't surprise me, but I know they do perform live because I've seen videos of them butchering their own songs.
And GWAR is a metal band.

Well, I guess it's about time they recorded a metal album after so many years of pretending to be a metal band.

I do also like how he attempts to suggest Gwar's lyrics, or indeed anything about them, aren't retrarded. Gwar and Lordi are the same. The whole personas, back-stories, only having about three good songs each, etc. All the same. Except Gwar's stage show is dumber, even if they are the better musicians.

I realize I can't respond to this unbiased, but COME ON.

That came out in 1992. They didn't claim to be a metal band in the 1980s, and they weren't. Scumdogs of the Universe and America Must Be Destroyed are undeniably metal. After that they did some experimental stuff, but it's still clearly within the realm of metal.
As for the lyrics and stage show, it is a joke. Lordi are attempting to have some sort of "legitimate" fake rock persona, GWAR are having fun.

I hope by dumber you mean better. It really makes no sense to me the way people bad mouth Gwar. I can understand why someone would bash them over the vocals and lyrics but when people dis-credit their musicianship it really makes no sense to me. Anyone who has heard SotU, AMBD, or any of their albums released in the last 10 years knows that Gwar can write solid heavy metal. The way people talk about them it makes me think the only Gwar song they ever heard was Fuckin' an Animal.
