Here's some news regarding the new Warbringer album.

Los Angeles thrashers WARBRINGER have completed work on their third album, "Worlds Torn Asunder", for a September release via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SYMPHONY X, SEPULTURA, HATEBREED) and marks the recording debut of the band's new drummer, Carlos Cruz (HEXEN), who has "had a lot of input into the new material," according to a press release.

Commented frontman John Kevill: "With this record, we were trying to do two things — to make something that progressed in new directions from our previous work, but also to keep all the speed and intensity at the forefront. I really think we've pulled that off with this record.

"We have a great and diverse batch of songs. Musically I think we have songs on this record that move forward from the styles of both our previous records, and some that go in completely new directions that the band has never done before.

"We are really excited to put this record out. We are really trying to raise the bar with this one."

"Worlds Torn Asunder" track listing

01. Living Weapon
02. Shattered Like Glass
03. Wake Up... Destroy
04. Future Ages Gone
05. Savagery
06. Treacherous Tongue
07. Echoes From The Void
08. Enemies Of The State
09. Behind The Veils Of Night (instrumental)
10. Demonic Ecstasy

The second and third in a series of webisodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions for the new album can be viewed below.

"Our goal with this record is to make something beyond a run-of-the-mill metal CD," guitarist John Laux previously said.

"The most difficult challenge is always finding just the right balance between a raw, aggressive sound and modern production standards. We chose Evetts to produce, aside from his extensive resume, because he aims for very organic and bold sounds. His experience in bringing the best out from a wide variety from musicians across different genres of music can be seen in his credits and this speaks for itself.

"Musically and thematically I feel confident that this will be respected as our most mature offering to date," Laux continued. "I am really proud of all the elements of extreme metal we have been able to incorporate into the songs. There is weight and purpose behind the lyrics and most importantly we have had time to put a lot of thought and care into the music."

Carlos made his live debut with WARBRINGER in Mexico City on March 5 at the Eyescream Festival alongside ASESINO, ANVIL, TOXIC HOLOCAUST and ABIGAIL WILLIAMS.

"Waking Into Nightmares", the sophomore album from WARBRINGER, sold around 2,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at position No. 14 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Halloween 2010, opening for Nevermore:

He dressed up as the Time Wizard and stage dived into the crowd. Be being 6ft 4 in, he boot got me right in the face.

I'll never forget that night...

Definitely looking forward to this. I don't expect anything revolutionary, but it's almost guaranteed to be a fun record.

After it happened he apologized to me and signed my "Jason" Hockey Mask which he and the rest of the guys in Warbringer, Blackguard and Abigail Williams signed.

Abigail Williams is a crazy fucking band off the stage.

This pretty much describes the whole night (just switch out Warbringer with Abigail Williams, I had such a great time I put down the wrong band, haha):
