Son of a bitch. Fucking amazing. Even just as an intro I've always wanted to hear them do Who Wants To Rock. Then Animal Farm? Even for a non-headling set that is fucking phenomenal.

ravenheart, do you think the song after Child of the City was a new song or one from their catalog that you just didn't recognize? If it was new, was it any way better than the songs from SCftW?

Decent Queensryche setlist - wouldn't be too upset to get that in August. Could use a bit more old stuff but it could be worse. NM156/Screaming in Digital back to back = awesome.

More updates:

Iced Earth did the whole Something Wicked trilogy.

Overkill also pulled out Skullcrusher and In Union We Stand.

Down did Swan Song.

Duff McKagan still cant sing a note.

Rob Zombie screwed up his timings so did three encores and still finished early. Opened with What Lurks On Channel X?

Full sets for Zombie, IE, Priest, Cult, Overkill, Accept, Steelheart, Mr Big, Down, Molly Hatchet, BLS, Rage and Ozzy tomorrow.

I like that BLS is switching it up a little bit. Glad he's playing 1919 songs again. Iced Earth set is pretty cool too.

Played all but Born To Lose on the last European tour... Setlist is basically the same stuff from the same albums. Again.

Last time we at least got The Beginning At Last and Rose Petaled Garden.

Well, they haven't done BFM since the Maifia tour. The North American leg they just did is the first time it's showed up since then. DOS and BTL have been absent from US sets for a long time now. I like the set though. It's the same as the one I saw them do last month.

I'm glad they decided to do Darkest Days and give ITR a rest for a bit.

Any BLS set with nothing from Stronger Than Death is not a good BLS set. Actually, BLS haven't played a good, balanced set since about 2003... 'Mafia' onwards their sets have been ridiculously biased to new stuff. I like most of the recent stuff (i.e. not Shot To Hell), but their sets are simply not proportionate enough. Too many YouTube hits from the last three albums, not enough older songs and nowhere near enough changes tour-to-tour.

True.

But besides nothing from STD, which to be honest i'm used to by now, this is the most balanced BLS has had their set for awhile. I like OOTB so I don't mind them playing stuff from it. At least they're playing the best songs off of it.

Look at the photos dude. Stu isn't singing for them yet. Matt Barlow is fulfilling all Summer festival dates. Stu doesn't start until the Autumn/Winter European tour.
