I'm more mad about this than a QOTSA 21+ show happening hours before my 21st birthday.

November 30th will be one year since I first Saw Blind Guardian. What a great way to remember that by seeing Kyuss Lives! and The Sword.

I must go!

Of course I don't know the circumstances, but why not go by yourself?

Almost all the shows I go to in Minnesota I go to myself. It's just as much fun as going with someone. I get to hang out with the bands more and I can focus on the bands playing.

Again that is just me.

I, too, go to a good number of shows by myself. Only one of my good friends is into heavy music and while he goes to some concerts with me even he isn't into a lot of the extreme stuff I'm into. While I do prefer to go with someone, there's no way I'd miss an awesome show just because I have to go by myself. There's usually people I know at the shows anyway

That's the other thing too. I have one good friend left in a half hour radius of me who loves the music I do (my ex singer of my ex band) and we're seeing a couple shows together in October, but he can't go to all the shows I want to go to. That won't stop me from going.

And a lot of my music friends are in The Twin Cities at these shows, so in a way I'm not going alone. Just the hour drive there and back.

I went to shows by myself all the time when I lived in NY......:(. The problem is now I live in CT and have no idea how to use the transportation as of yet and don't wanna try it alone, especially for such a far distance.

I am suppose to be in NY the next morning for a doctors appointment anyway so I'm gonna try my hardest to find someone to go with (or to Descendants or Atari Teenage Riot....all are on the same day :eyes:)

That's better, but it's still not helping me much. That Saturday night gig in (OK, near) Detroit might work. Maybe a show and a trip to the poker tables afterward, perhaps? :eyes:

Black Cobra will open starting on the 11/17 date through the end of the tour.If this is true for the December dates, the offer just got a little tastier.

BTW, I wish the Friday night gig in PA was a week later or earlier, because then I might be able to go - but I watch the kids that night.

wow so I went to the NYC show, bought a tour shirt and on the back they have a New Haven stop that hasn't been announced yet.

Could've gone to Atari Teenage Riot or Descendants if that was the case :bouville:

Either way, great show.
