Abbreviating every band in your gig list so you can get more in your signature is cheating. Or attention seeking. You choose ;)

You know for all the shit the prequel trilogy got wrong, Darth Maul was probably the one thing they got right. Probably the best character from that whole trainwreck.

There is aboslutly nothing wrong any Star Wars films. Though I am able to connect Star Wars to ancient stories and todays corrupt government so it's fun for me to watch.

Beat me too it.

By the way, I love the prequels and I can honestly say that revenge of the Sith is my favorite by far. And I consider myself to be a huge Star Wars nerd.

That's why I still watch the old VHS's. I don't want to see that douchebag kid in one of the originals.

Actually George Lucas has talked about him making connections to our political world and Star Wars.

Yes I did. Had them on vhs and saw the originals when they were re-released in theaters. Hands down Empires is the best one, but sith is my favorite as it's the final piece in the puzzle.

I really want to have these on dvd format, but I really like the new versions too. Lucas said that this is how he wanted to be in the first place. He is the creator, who are we to say his creation is wrong. Although I do think they shoulda kept Han shooting first.

I think the Blu Ray set is supposed to be the "definitive collection", everything that is gonna be edited will be, and we'll find out who really shot first

The last versions of the originals to be released on DVD here were double-disc editions, one containing the original version, one containing the remastered version with the changes.

Did the US not get those? I have all three in that format.

Wrong. I don't hate the prequels, by any means. But two of them are just bad cinema.

Revenge Of The Sith is actually an awesome film, I've heard quite a few people who are Star Wars geeks say its their favorite because it finally made you understand Darth Vaders character and the whole story. It answered so many questions.

I'm an Empire fan myself, or Return of the Jedi, I'm often torn between the two.

This. I enjoyed 'Revenge of The Sith' a lot. The two I was referring to were the other two ;)

Because it's not possible to like the new ones better. Episode I blows all sorts or donkey dick and Episode II is an improvement and is a good film but nothing that outstanding. Episode III is the only one that stands up to the original three. I would put it third on my list after Empire and Jedi.

Han shot first, that's a fact, don't you ever forget it.

If we can get into fanboyism, I'll just put it out there that Darth Malak is the coolest imo.

Pretty sure we did, but then they released box sets of the original trilogy in widescreen and full screen that were only the new versions, so they don't sell those any more.

Yeah, that's the one I have. The original version is a shitty non-anamorphic transfer that looks like shit on a big TV. Thanks, George.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to drop the money on the entire saga Blu-Ray set.

No, i've always been a Playstation guy and never owned an Xbox. I deffinitely think it's a game I would love though. But I find it hard to believe a video game character can top the most iconic villain of all time in Darth Vader.

The dude can choke you from acrros the room. How do you beat that;)

Good :horns: Revan was the best (the mask, robe, HK 47 nuff said) man, I wish Bioware would make KOTOR 3 and not the fucking Old Republic MMO.
