Anybody else use this website? I just made an account today and started writing album review out of boredom. Here's my page: http://rateyourmusic.com/~bohab94

Nope, never. Barely any useful information and incredibly irritating to use because 75% of any given page is taken up with shitty ads.

What? I have never had any ads using this site. There's a function if you join where you can turn ads on, but if you never turn this on then you should never get any ads.

Also I find it extremely helpful to find bands there. Check out user lists, guaranteed you will find a band about any obscure thing you search. Then there is always the top rated list on any given genre which is extremely helpful.

The only thing that sucks is the top rated lists(overall) of 2009+, they are filled with live albums and hipsters down rate everything. Nothing is given a chance.

This looks interesting, think I might need to join up! Wait until I give Whitechapel a better review than Megadeth

Yes. I actually have a top 80's and 90's metal list there. I've been waiting for the perfect time to unfurl them here.

If you don't have an account, this is irrelevant. The site is loads with ads.

Why would you use a music rating site if your not gonna rate music?

btw adding people as friends is one of the worst features on the site because its similar to a Youtube subscription rather than any other friend site. You both have to add each other individually to appear on eachother's pages.

Just for that, I added you as a friend ;)

EDIT: and now I just realized that you added me as a friend four days ago. Hahaha I guess you're right
