*Note* Set Is slightly out of order.

While I do respect Accept as a band who have been able to stick around, and on their last album produce some good metal, I really don't care for them too much, so needless to say I was only here for Sabaton. I arrived just minutes before they went on due to me going to an Orlando City Soccer match beforehand (3-0 ;)), and as we are nearing the door to pay two blokes come up and say they would sell their tickets for $10 each because they were on the guest-list, so needless to say again... HELL YEAH! They worked, and I turned to thank them, gotta love the Metal Family.

Cut to the show; they were fucking tight! So strong live, and such stage presence! Joakim is a great live singer and overall a great frontman, knows how much to say and when a joke has run its course. I HIGHLY recommend seeing them on this tour if you were even thinking of it!

What a great way to start their 1st ever full NA Tour.

1. Ghost Division
2. 40:1
3. Wolfpack
4. Screaming Eagles
5. Nuclear Attack
6. Coat of Arms
7. Panzer Battalion
8. Primo Victoria
9. Metal Machine/Metal Crue

After the show, met the bassist, singer, and stand in drummer (who usually plays for Yngwie Malmsteen). And a note on the drummer, he is amazing! For barely knowing the set, my god he is a monster!

Then I was hanging around Merch, and ONCE AGAIN! I met Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse. We exchanged hello's, amazingly nice guy, and as he is about to leave he comes around again and says "Yeah man, out of all the bands I used to look up to and like in the 80's, Accept was up there man, so if it's a metal show I'm there, and if it's a band I love... Totally there!".

Then as I was leaving I saw the guitarist of Trivium, again... He is always around... And I usually just taunt him for the shits and gigs, but this time I decided to play super fan and tell him I was gonna see him with Iron Maiden in London and what not, and he was stoked and honored... and really fucking drunk...

Corey looks so much different clean shaven, in fact I don't think I have ever seen him THAT clean shaven before haha.. Anyway, yeah Sabaton rule, seen them by default at last years Graspop, intense live band, definitely gonna check them out live at an indoor show sometime..

Their metal scene, in my opinion.

It's a shame the shape of Florida... no band want to drive all that distance down just to drive right back up. I feel for you, I really do. Some bands hit Atlanta, or Jacksonville, but then turn north. Jax from my home in a good 3 hours away, it's horrid.

If anyone cared to know, here's Accept's setlist (from setlist.fm).

1. Teutonic Terror
2. Bucket Full of Hate
3. Starlight
4. Love Child
5. Breaker
6. New World Comin'
7. Restless and Wild
8. Son of a Bitch
9. Midnight Mover
10. Metal Heart
Guitar Solo (performed by Wolf Hoffmann)
11. Neon Nights
12. Bulletproof
13. The Abyss
14. Losers and Winners
15. Aiming High
16. Princess of the Dawn
17. No Shelter
18. Up to the Limit
19. Burning
Encore:
20. Fast as a Shark
21. Pandemic
22. Balls to the Wall

This is a fantastic Accept setlist IMO, if 18 songs on their last tour was 90 minutes, this has got to be a solid two hours at least. It's about time they started giving America sets the length of Europe's! The only songs I could ask for would be Beat the Bastards, Locked and Loaded and Head Over Heels.

Butcher, do you know how long Sabaton played for or what time Accept went on? I'm going to the show in San Francisco and I'm gonna be cutting it super-close due to a school talent show (I know it sounds stupid, but whatever).

Yeah its the worst and you got it spot on, no band wants drive like 7/8 hours down to go back up :bouville:
Im so planing to move when I turn 18. I want to go to college in FSU, so that should be better than down here.

I'd say Sabaton went on around 9:30, doors were 8:00. I would say they played a solid 35-45 Minutes. So the math is up to you.

Yeah but the Panhandle isn't known for shows either. Tally to Jax is 3 hours, and to Atlanta is 5...

I would say if you really want a good college and a good location for shows, just do UCF, you are in Orlando and within and hour and a half of Tampa.

Yeah its a toss up between FSU and UCF. Only time will tell, still have a good 3 years :D

pretty good set, seen sabaton a few times and are so good live and the lead singer is quality.

Would've liked to have seen white death been kept in the set cos i'd like to hear it when they come back to europe.

sounds like you had a good time and glad to see their getting a warm reception in the USA

Going to see them in Denver. I love that set list but I have my fingers crossed for White Death when they get here.
