Occasionally tempted by this, but I tend to end up liking about 5 bands on the bill as they lean massively towards death metal and just have a sprinkling of doom and thrash.
So far I'd watch Satyricon and Saint Vitus. Probably Devil. Would have watched Ghost too, but having now seen them, they're dull, so I wouldn't.

Then you'd better make it this year. It's the last one.

That poster is amazing.
Unfortunately, I'll be in Bergen, but about two months prior.

Awesome lineup, but it sucks to see the festival go. :(

Really wish I could go to this. It's cool that they used the old Immortal and Enslaved logo's on the poster.

Damn, it got even better.
Mortuary Drape, Wolf, Diskord, and more? :rocker: This is a diverse and incredible final round to the festival, that's for sure.

It's not that diverse, let's be honest. Without Wolf it would be exclusively death, black and doom. Which is what it always is.

Yes, it's a lot of those three genres, but also Nekromantheon is thrash and Virus is avant-garde. And not to mention Primordial, who has an interesting mix of genres.

Would go Day 1.
Would go Day 2.
Would maybe go Day 3 and leave after Primordial.
Would definitely go Day 4.

Clutching at straws there, my friend.
I'm investigating travel/accom options for days 2 and 3.

Perhaps I am. It may not be so diverse in terms of the past years of the festival, but by my standards, it has a nice mix.
If I was attending (all of the days) I think I would enjoy almost all of the bands, which usually isn't the case when I look at festival lineups.

Man, they're using Enslaved's old logo. Does this mean they could pull out a bunch of old tunes for this?

That would be awesome. I doubt it though... but you never know. It would be incredible if Immortal played a lot of old stuff!

That is one hell of a line-up. Sucks this will be the last one though. :(
