Maybe some fellow grind fans on here could enlighten me on whether grindcore in general just really goes over well live, or if Wormot is especially good live?

Only grind band I've seen was Rotten Sound, and they were certainly an incredible live performance.

Being a huge grind fan I may be a bit biased, but I do think that most bands in the genre are far better live. Wormrot is a good example, I enjoy their records but was blown away by them live.

I've seen Rotten Sound and Wormrot live and they were both awesome. Definitely bands that I will see again when they come back.

Agreed. They are a band that I was insanely into before I saw them live and they did not disappoint. There are some other bands, like Splitter, that I wasn't sure about but totally won me over after seeing them play.

The reason grind bands are better live is because the music was meant for a live environment. It's louder, faster, and in your face. Grind is an experience, and audio only captures part of that.

/deep thoughts n' stuff about fast music

Wormrot seriously blew me the fuck away at Scion rock fest. Definitely a band that I will go see when they're in town again(be it orange county or the los angeles areas).

Also, Like one of the posters said earlier on this thread....This band is one of those bands that sound even better in concert than on their studio records. I really thought they sounded great and clear at Scion rock fest.
