Insane show. There is nothing like seeing Dropkick Murphys in Boston. The energy was absolutely crazy. Just about everyone was singing along, jumping around and having a great time. There was all sorts of crazy surprises such as Irish Stepdancers, various bagpipe and accordion player and best of all, Bruce fucking Springsteen came out and played with them for 3 songs during the encore. I am not really a big fan of Springsteen, it was just really cool to see him come out and play with the Murphys considering how huge it is. Fantastic fun and I would love to see them again next year, it was a fucking blast.

Against Me! was a pretty good opener. A little bit repeative, but they had great energy and they were pretty fun. Death Before Dishonor also opened for them, which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed them quite a bit, but the crowd was completely dead for them. Most people looked confused during their set. I would like to see them again with a better crowd, they were very good. The other opener, The Parkington Sisters were a folk group from Cape Cod. They were talented, but I really didn't enjoy their stuff at all. I was fairly bored during their set.Great show and an awesome way to start off 2011shows.
