What the fuck is going on? None of these summer tours are stopping in CA in July. I'm going to have a shitty time in America this summer :bouville:

We usually get a ton of summer shows here. Don't worry.

Yeah, you're far better off in the States for Summer shows than in Europe. No one play shows in Europe in the Summer because competing with the festivals is futile.

POOR CALIFORNIA :boohoo:

Yeah, LOL. You guys are so hated

Plenty will be announced soon. It seems most tours (smaller bands) aren't announced until 2 months or so beforehand.

Hmm, yeah I'm not sure where you get off man... complaining about metal shows in California? I tell you what, move to Saskatoon or Thunder Bay and tell me how many metal shows you get to see.

I believe there are a select few better places to live if attending shows is a priority for you.

Lol I think you're being sarcastic.... but in case you're not, do you even know where Saskatoon is? Pretty remote in the grand scheme of things... those poor bastards have to drive to Winnipeg to see a metal show, and that's usually something lame like Slipknot or Ozzy or something big enough to hit a town as shitty as Winnipeg.

I am. And I feel bad for Canada in general. The only places that get a good amount of shows are Montreal and Toronto.

Yeah I'm happy I live pretty close to Toronto... even Vancouver gets fucked over, but I guess Seattle is pretty close so no biggie... and nobody likes Vancouver anyway.

Every metal tour goes through:

New York
Chicago
Seattle
Los Angeles

at least.

That's not necessarily true. You'll see a ton of tours not going to the west at all. You'll also sometimes see them skip the Northwest.

Either way though, no complaining if you live in LA, very little if you live in San Francisco.

So should us New Yorkers be complaining about the shows we don't get that go upstate? Cause you know ATP, Camb Bisco, and a bunch of other festivals happen there but not in the general NYC/Brooklyn/Queens area.

lol it's just hard to take these no shows in CA debates seriously

You shouldn't take them seriously. We have it very good here.

A ton of tours skip Chicago and Illinois altogether and go for Indiana or Wisconsin.
