A great performance from Clutch. The show was sold out and Stubbs was packed. I think the crowd had the biggest reactions to the songs from Strange Cousins. Neil introduced the new song by saying "this is a work in progress". He played guitar on it and there were no lyrics at this point but it sounded like more of a Clutch song than a Bakerton Group song. I was kind of expecting them to play Texan Book of the Dead, but maybe that was a dumb expectation. Besides Neil they really don't have a hell of a lot of stage presence, but when they rock out the music speaks for itself. I have yet to be disappointed by a Clutch show and this was no exception.

I had a great time at this show. It was my first time seeing Valient Thorr and I was impressed. I'd definitely like to see them again live. Clutch sounded great and I can't wait for a headlining tour to hit these parts. I stayed for about half of Motorhead's set. For whatever reason I never really listened to Motorhead, but it was really cool to see them live.

This was my first Clutch show and it was pretty good. I hadn't heard much about them before, but I'll probably check out more of their stuff. I also picked up a setlist from the soundboard after their show and it says:

Thanks for posting this. I updated the original to reflect your post. I'm pretty sure Motorhead played the same set as previously posted from other shows.
