Demonaz Occulta (real name: Harald Nævdal), the once-guitarist and chief lyricist for the Norwegian black metal veterans IMMORTAL, will release his first solo album, "March Of The Norse", on April 1 in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD will be available as a CD-digi, regular LP and picture-disc LP.
"March Of The Norse" track listing:
01. Northern Hymn
02. All Blackened Sky
03. March Of The Norse
04. A Son Of The Sword
05. Where Gods Once Rode
06. Under The Great Fires
07. Over The Mountains
08. Ode To Battle
09. Legends Of Fire And Ice
10. Dying Sun (bonus track)
DEMONAZ lineup on the demos was as follows:
Demonaz (Vocals, Music and Lyrics)
Abbath (Bass, Backing Vocals)
Ice Dale (Guitars)
Armagedda (drums)
Demonaz previously desscribed his solo material as "another cold dimension in my musical and lyrical world."
I'm not sure if that's the current line up he's using, but if Ice Dale is on it that's awesome. From the demos I heard it sounds pretty cool. Like a cross between Immortal, I, Hammerheart Bathory, with clean vocals. Should be an interesting release.
