On the heels of album releases from both CARNIFEX and WITHIN THE RUINS in 2010, it seems fitting that Victory Records labelmates are teaming up to take on the country for the "Names Mean Nothing" tour alongside OCEANO and THE TONY DANZA TAPDANCE EXTRAVAGANZA. The near-month-and-a-half run is sure to cause some damage; the tour is rolling out the likely-stained red carpet to bring some of today's premier metal bands to a city near you. Dates are listed below.

CARNIFEX frontman Scott Lewis states, "The 'Names Mean Nothing Tour' is bringing some of the heaviest, technical and modern metal bands together for awesome nights of sick pits and wicked beatdowns; guaranteed to leave you with bangovers the next morning. Don't miss it!"

Joe Cocchi from WITHIN THE RUINS adds, "We've been looking forward to this tour for a long time now! It's going to be great for us to finally be out on a legit tour with some awesome bands in support of our newest release, 'Invade'!"

I keep forgetting this place is open again. the only tours that have gone there so far have been deathcore ones.

That's right, go to the Brewery with all the other scene tours. Leave the good shows to Volume 11.

if it was coming near me I'd go for Danza and Within The Ruins.... Oceano is terrible, Carnifex is tolerable but I really don't wanna see them headline at all.

Agreed. I would consider going to this show in Montreal, cause the venue there is easy to film at, tix will probably only be $10, but I'm heading to the NEMHF that night, so no go.

I agree that Carnifex is tolerable (I don't like them, but I can tolerate them), Ocean is awful. Abysmal. From the few songs I've listened to, I think their guitarists are some of the least talented musicians I've ever heard. I literally LOL'ed when I read in some article claiming them to be "The Heaviest Band in the World".

Where the fuck is Mojoe's in Chicago? I have never hears of that place. Probably some small shithole bar only deathcore bands could get. Bleh.

This tour is hitting NEMHF the day I go, boy I can't wai this lineup is so brOOtalt;) In all honesty, Danza is not too bad, but the rest of the lineup is weak, especially Carnifex and Within The Ruins
