Have a bad feeling Poison will be touring with Motley this summer. Hopefully I am wrong and we get a good Cruefest lineup.

Motley Crue/Poison/Rob Zombie would be awesome.

Motley Crue/Poison/Rob Zombie would be awesome.

Zombie opening for Poison would be a joke.

I would be happy with Motley, Zombie, Stone Sour, and either 10 years or Halestorm.

it should be interesting

honestly I said it a few years back, I think Avenged Sevenfold will do this, it would sell tickets

Of whats listed, I think Poison and Avenged Sevenfold are the most likely, in terms of their image, and fanbase. Alice has an outside chance, its not really his tour.

Opening bands wise, I would be downright shocked if Steel Panther didn't get it. Shinedown, Papa Roach, Slash and Alter Bridge could do it, but Steel Panther would be the perfect candidate.

Not that I care, not a hope in hell of me catching this!

Would not want to see any of the opening bands except maybe Alter Bridge. I'd really like to see Rob Zombie or Slash, and A7X or Poison wouldn't be bad either.

edit: can't believe I forgot Alice Cooper! He should headline. ;)

not suprised, sounds like a good idea(what with the anniversary coming up)

and I really wouldnt expect Shinedown, even though theyre working on new material they had said theyll take most of 2011 off(that and they now headline the very same venues)

Keeping with the apparent "classic" theme Id like to see these acts considered:
Alice Cooper
Slash
Chickenfoot
Anthrax OR The Damned Things
Cheap Trick
Tesla
Twisted Sister
Sebastian Bach

Just some thoughts with the whole "classic" vibe apparently going on

Alice Cooper opening for Motley Crue would be worse then Megadeth opening for Godsmack.

Well he did do tours recently playing under Rob Zombie and Heaven And Hell

and it sounds like a couple members of Crue have wanted to tour with Alice, plus the fact that in the past they've brought out older acts like Cheap Trick and The Scorpions

I think the line up looks like this:

Crue
Poison
Unknown Band
Sixx AM
New York Dolls

The unknown band will be a B level band thatis modern. Papa Roach, Hinder, etc.

If this is CrueFest 3, like I believe it to be but have no actual proof of it being a festival, then I fully expect a complete 2nd stage like Ozzfest used to have. On Cruefest 1 there was only a mainstage. On Cruefest 2 they had a few bands on a small 2nd stage. This time out I expect to see Buckcherry, Steel Panther, Sevendust, Drowning Pool etc on the second stage. Not my choice for the bands mind you, just what I am expecting to be reality.

I feel like it's out of respect they aren't calling this "Crue Fest"

hopefully Sixx AM does a club tour in the future

Naw, its just not Cruefest. Only 3 bands, its just a co-headline tour with Poison.
