Y'know, I love to see great bands live. Bands where musicianship and performance are top notch. Bands that make me feel great and happy about life. Bands where the performers are enthusiastic, gracious, passionate, and above all humble. This tour seems to embody all of these qualities into what will be, undoubtedly, the best tour of 2011.

I am really excited to see this not coming to MA, I got a little nervous that this tour would be part of NEMHF this year.

Wow, that is a pretty diverse bill (not being sarcastic.) Its going to be a rainbow of scene kids in that crowd.

Saw this on the Studio Seven's calendar at least a week ago, wasn't worth the effort to post it.

Haha. I just watched this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLQBebfEXpc) to see if these guys are as putrid as everyone is saying. Lol it really fucking is! It's pretty fucking heavy though... I mean the coffee cups are bouncing off the table... and a lamp fell over! Hahahaha fuck, call Crowbar and tell them they've been usurped! Hahahaha.

A friend of the family is a big rock fan and he saw Zep in concert back in the day along with a lot of other 70s bands, yet his son loves Asking Alexandria and all that other shit.:hmm:

If I'm honest, if it wasn't for the co-headliners, that wouldn't be a bad show. I would certainly be interested in going as I enjoy the support acts on a casual basis.

Best tour of 2011? I'm not sure about that one with Nevermore and Symphony X hitting the road together this spring.

Best tour of 2011? Seriously? I'm guessing you're not aware that Nevermore and Symphony X are touring together this spring. If you enjoy seeing good musicianship live like you said, then that's the tour you need to check out.

Oh good, I had forgotten about Asking Alexandria. Thank you for bringing them up again.

Still one of the funniest videos I've ever seen.

I like Miss May I, Chiodos are okay, and the one song by Evergreen Terrace (Chaney Can't Quite Riff Like Helmet's Page Hamilton) wasn't bad. But dear god....

And the crowd they attract would be unbearable.

Haha, I KNEW you guys would love this! I actually agree with COS that Miss May I aren't too terrible musically, but they're still part of this whole scene. And actually, the new Emmure song that is up on their myspace isn't complete shit, because it is about Street Fighter and uses a sample of the announcer going "Round 1- fight!" right before a breakdown. Doesn't redeem them, though.

The good news is these bands are all grouped together so they won't be infecting potentially good tours. As for the REAL best tour of 2011? It's gonna be the Enslaved headliner that's gonna get announced any day now.

How many bad electronica/metalcore bands can even exist?

I'm glad this tour is happening. It keeps the shitty bands away from good shows. Number one worst tour of 2011?

Pretty much how I feel. I went to see the Blackout and We Are The Ocean in 09 (As I said, I enjoy these bands on a casual basis, it was a matinee show for like 15 euro, chick I knew wanted to go, fuck it), and I couldn't even be bothered moshing or anything because a) the kids were tiny and I feared I would hurt them, and b) they were hardcore dancing so I could barely breathe for the laughter.. I would go to see them at a festival, but this concert, I would leave before either headliner came on.

Wut?

Seriously, the sheer hilarity and trollling fun of a Bro-mmure concert is worlds more entertaining than Jeff Loomis and that fatass from Symph X jacking off their guitars for upwards to 4 hours.
