The latest reboot of Thin Lizzy was, actually, quite good. I saw them many times during the Sykes/Gorham reunion era and they pretty much always played the same set. It was nice to see a number of new songs added into the mix.

Also, just a quick nod to the annual "Vibe for Philo" tribute concerts that take place each year in Dublin on January 4th. For those who love Lizzy these are a must see. 4+ hours each night (including the pre-vibe on the 3rd) of old Lizzy tunes and deep album cuts performed by various artists from around the globe. This year they had both Eric Bell and Brian Robertson on the bill. A really great time...

Anyway, back to the Glasgow gig:

Are You Ready
Waiting for an Alibi
Jailbreak
Do Anything You Want To
Don't Believe a Word
Dancing in the Moonlight
Massacre
Angel of Death
Still in Love with You
Whiskey in the Jar
Emerald
Wild One
Sha La La/Drum Solo
Cowboy Song
The Boys are Back in Town
---------------------------
Rosalie
Bad Reputation
---------------------------
Black Rose

Thin Lizzy 2011 (Gorham, Downey, Wharton, Mendoza, Campbell, Warwick)

Cheers!

Fantastic setlist. The only thing I'd really like to see is some stuff off Thunder and Lightning (The Holy War, Cold Sweat, The Sun Goes Down). Otherwise, awesome.

Wow that's a nice set. Gonna keep my eyes open for this one, Viv Campbell smokes John Sykes.
