A little late I know, sorry about that.

I've been wanting to see Ghoul for so many years now, I missed Impaled back in 08' & I knew seeing Ghoul was the closest I was going to get to seeing Impaled for quite some time. It was a huge 2 day metal festival in San Antonio & I mainly went for Ghoul, knowing they hardly ever play anywhere, I had to go.

Ghoul put on an amazing show, they had the crowd going pretty crazy. Though I was sad they hardly played any older songs. I met Cremator AKA Ross Sewage, after the show. He said Ghoul hardly plays anywhere cus they're not a very successful band which kinda sucks. I had completely forgotten to ask about what Impaled was up to & when was Ghoul's next album coming out considering they played a new song. But I was just in shock mostly for meeting Ross. Wish I could've met Sean as well but maybe next time!

[Setlist might be slightly out of order.]

Into The Catacombs
Bury The Hatchet
Mutant Mutilator
Graveyard Mosh
Gutbucket Blues
*New Song*
Rise, Killbot, Rise
As Your Casket Closes
Kids In America

My guess is that the into was actually one off the new album which they've been playing for a few years now, and the new song was probably 'Off With Their Heads. In addition to them being not successful (which is kinda sad because I've been told by the band that they do much better than Impaled)they are almost all active in other bands, which sucks. I wish Ghoul would get to releasing the goddamn new album :(

Did you happen to see Blasphemophagher?

Really? I know Impaled went on a full U.S tour back in 08' & I don't ever remember Ghoul doing such a thing. Strange, I thought Impaled would be doing better. I really should've asked when they planned to release it. They need a new album already.

I actually didn't get to see Blasphemophagher, I saw up to Grave Miasma & then that's when I saw Ross & started talking to him for a while.

I think Ghoul could do a big tour, but with all the members being busy in different bands it's difficult. Every time I've seen Ghoul they've had probably 3-4x the amount of people who went to the Impaled show I saw, but then again Ghoul are pretty much an 'event' band.

That's pretty true. Ghoul is a bit thrashy & all, it's what gets the crowd going too. What! How many time have you seen Ghoul??

3 times. They are from the Bay Area which is kinda where I live, so that's why.
I just found this, last line is exciting..
