The Bluebird is 21+, so while a band that I like playing a ten minute walk from where I live would normally be awesome, I'll be skipping the show. Not a big problem since their newest one sucks, I've seen them twice, and the second time they were hugely disappointing.

Finally, a decent band comes to Altar Bar.

And personally I find Here Awaits Thy Doom to be their best. I think of it as their debut, as a matter of fact. They finally ditched the horrible nu metal bellowing that tainted the previous albums, made the riffs and songwriting twice as interesting and made a pretty damn sweet concept for the album. It seems like they're finally creating a worthy nod to the NWOBHM-style of music, rather than impersonating it. Although Cam Pipes isn't all that great shakes on record.

it is, all or most of these dates should be the eluveitie tour dude, you probably found an off date.

I guess the fact that they're headlining and therefore will have a longer set time to pull out more stuff from Advance and Vanquish and Fire Up the Blades makes me want to try to get into the venue a little bit more. We'll see what happens.

Yeah I'll pass. 3IOB used to be the band I would never miss when they came to town, but I will never go out of my way to see them again because the new cd was so god damn awful. Their new set sucks so theres no point in going.
