Taken from Facebook/Twitter

Taking a break from Deconstruction to sing a verse on a buddies ep. One of my favorite bands currently.

My guesses are the Akerfeldt/Wilson project "Storm Corrosion", Gojira or Between The Buried And Me.

I would say Opeth, but they don't hit the studio until the end of January.

Pretty sure it's Gojira. I read somewhere he's a big fan and I thought I also read that the Gojira EP would feature some prominant metal musicians.

Fixed!

It would be. But Fonz, since you posted in this thread and now know it exists, there is no need to make another thread when this become official.....Just a heads up. :D

I have a feeling its BTBAM, he has said in a few interviews how much he admires them.

Hope it's Gojira.

Though it would be cool if BTBAM wrote another avant-garde sounding song like Fossil Genera and put Townsend on vocals for that. But nah, it would probably take away from the novelty of the original.

Yep that was their last headliner, they did open for Metallica in September 09.

That's right it was only for part of the tour though, didn't come through these parts.

BTBAM is currently working on an EP, so it's probably them.
