I wish this band was good, because that album cover rules.

Not to mention the title of the album itself. Simple yet fucking still awesomely powerful.

Surprising that no satanist / atheist / hardcore black metal bands have thought of that one yet.

Wow, I didn't even know they went to the studio. Awesome news! I'm sure this album won't dissapoint! I'll probably go see them now to hear the new songs

It's a different producer from their atrociously produced last album, and The Stench Of Redemption is really one of the best death metal releases of the last half of the '00's. So I'll be checking it out, albeit cautiously.

I think I want to like them. The little I've heard wasn't great. This will probably make my decision if I see them next year. Great title however.

Their first two, Deicide and Legion, are really good. Everything after that is okay, but The Stench of Redemption is REALLY good. It came out in 2006. Their last one, 'Till Death Do Us Part, suffered some really bad production. I actually thought Erik Rutan produced it.

I'll give this a listen when it comes out, even though I'm not a big fan.

I don't think I can ever see Deicide on Mayhem, even though they've had death metal on the tour before.

The bands that play mayhem are usually ones that a popular with the youngsters. I doubt Deicide will be on it. Maybe Summer Slaughter.

I wasn't talking about the cover so much as the album, which is essential death metal. If Decibel knows what's good for them they'll induct it next month.

Hahah, I believe on the tour for the last album they played exactly 0 song off of it. At least when I saw them it was completely 'greatest' hits stuff.
