Underoath:tpaper: again picks a band that is better than them for support.

Well, at least there is one good band on this tour...

I really hope Animals As Leaders get some better tours next year.

i might go to this. i have a few friends who are big Underoath fans who are really fun to go to shows with. also i've been wanting to see AAL for awhile.

Same here. I really want to see them again, but they keep getting on these weird tours.

it does kinda make sense though. Most of the 16 year olds at summer slaughter seemed to really like them

True. But they fit in better with the Veil of Maya crowds than the Underoath ones. There are similarities between Animals as Leaders and Veil of Maya, but not really Underoath. And the tour with Chiodos really didn't make sense.

Agreed, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are people that are fans of both Underoath and Veil of Maya. Either way, it's not the most predictable pairing, that's for sure.

Also, Chiodos...wtf?

I'm going to see Thursday do 'Full Collapse' in it's entirety.

That album along with Refused's 'The Shape of Punk to Come', Glassjaw's 'Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence' and At The Drive In's 'Relationship of Command' all kind of got me into post-hardcore although I find most bands that are derivations of these to be terrible.

I might check out Animals as Leaders, but I have no interest in Underoath. This tour should have been Thursday / Glassjaw / United Nations.

There's actually this secret little place in my heart that really likes Underoath... but I'm afraid to tell anyone. Their fans are mostly douches from my experiences, though. AAS is defenitely a weird opening choice for them...
