they need to play these 3 songs again consistently. i know they did Gods of War a few years ago but the other ones need to come back

Gods Of War used to be a staple for a long time but they don't do it as often since they mainly stick with the greatest hits set now a days. Stagefright would be awesome but only play it if it's the opener otherwise i'm not sure it'll work as well live. I don't think Joe can scream like that anymore so we might not ever see SF live again.

I wonder why Joe's voice got so bad. Maybe from smoking? Or is it that he just didn't didn't take care of his vocals properly?

smoking is my guess. There are moments where you can hear his old voice but its definitely not the same.

Smoking is the exact reason. You should hear his voice on the 2002 tour. It's rough ash hell, he sounds like he's in pain. PLUS, he's even admitted it/

The smoking is the main reason his voice has gone down but you've also gotta factor in that Joe is like 50, so singing like that now probably wouldn't be as likely anyways regardless or weather he smokes or not.

The other thing is I think Mutt Lange pushed Joe to sing like that on H&D and Pyromania in order to give those songs that extra punch. I don't think the way Joe sang on those two albums was natural to him. The high notes he hit on the chorus of 'Foolin' was rediculous, there's no way his voice was meant to do stuff like that. Those two albums have the best vocal work of his career no doubt, but I think it also played a small part in killing his voice. The first album and from Hysteria on is the voice that Joe is more confortable with and the voice that was meant for him to really do.

Old Def Leppard setlists make me sad.

I couldn't agree more! I've seen them like 5 times since 1999 and they've never played those 3 killer songs, and to be honest i don't think i'll see them again unless they're played, their setlist has become very predictable.

Old Def Leppard setlists make me sad.

Why is that?

Anyways, when I saw them in 1993 the set went something like this:

Let's Get Rocked
Tear It Down
Women
Hysteria
Make Love Like a Man
White Lightning
Foolin'
Animal
Gods Of War
Rocket
Too Late for Love
Bringin' on the Heartbreak
Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad
Armageddon It
Rock of Ages

Encore:
Pour Some Sugar on Me
Love Bites
Photograph

They played 'in the round' and I was on the 5th row on the floor. One of the more memorable and fun shows i've ever been to.
