WITCHAVEN - TERRORSTORM

Nah, I guess Ironbound. Definitely don't get the hype behind the new Heathen.

Edit: Oh wait, my vote definitely goes to Hammerlord - Wolves At Wars End :D

I am not happy with you.

Difficult... I'll either vote Heathen, Death Angel or Angelus Apatrida... There are loads of others too... I will ponder this.

Definitely Overkill. If you like thrash and I mean really really like thrash, it's the only choice. The Heathen album, while a technically superior album, sounds sterile and is absolutely no fun. The Death Angel album just doesn't stack up either and is a distant third. So really the only choice is the best album in about 20 years from the genre's unwavering flag-bearers.

You talk like those are the only three good thrash albums to be released this year.

Voted for Overkill because it's a really good album, but I haven't heard the others. Actually, I haven't heard any other thrash albums this year. And as good as Ironbound is, it won't even sniff my top ten. I think I just don't like thrash that much anymore. :(

Depending how much of an asshole I can be. The new Heathen was technically released first in 2009 in Japan then everywhere else in 2010. That said...

I still can't choose, all the 3 are badass.

Ironbound is the only thrash album I have heard this year.

I'm a sad, sad, sad excuse for a thrash fan, but I cannot stand Overkill's vocals. I do think they're a great band though. Same goes for Heathen.

Why isn't Exhibit B on the ballot? I know you can just count it under ohter but it was a more significant release then Relentless Retribution.

I knew there was an album missing from the poll, but I couldn't figure it out. Now I feel dumb.

I voted Heathen, though Ironbound was close.

I feel bad for Death Angel getting no love. :( I haven't heard the whole album, but the few songs I did hear were awesome.

Oh and the Exodus album should be in that last, not included in Other. Just sayin'.

I've decided it's too early to vote because the new Onslaught is still to be released.

It's not totally thrash, but it's the best thrashish release I've heard this year, so I'm going with:
Children of Technology- It's Time To Face the Doomsday

It really isn't that great. I was a little disapointed. It only has 3 songs I think are that great (Truce, River of Rapture, and Where They Lay).

Alright, I finally picked up the new Exodus CD and it is a pretty good disc. I have only listened to it a couple of times, but so far I would say that it isn't as good as the 3 in the poll.

I have only heard a couple of songs from the new Forbidden disc but they didn't really strike me as anything special.

I seriously can't believe that no one voted for Death Angel. I love that disc and I would rank it a close second behind Heathen, with Overkill third. The last Death Angel disc was also excellent and made my year end top 10.

Of the 3 listed, definitely Overkill.

Relentless Retribution really didn't do much for me.

Out of that list Ironbound, but Exibit B was the best thrash release of 2010.

I voted other. I thought Terrorstorm by Witchaven was the best thrash release of 2010.

I haven't bothered listening to that album because of all the negative shit i've heard about it
