The show was at the 5 Stars Bar in Downtown LA. It was a last minute show. The lineup was Disagree, Tazumal, BrucexCambell, Fetus Eaters, Meat Shits and Stapled Shut. The show started at 8pm, I found out at 850pm about it and headed over there immediately. I was really happy I found out about this show. I was suppose to see All Leather perform that night, but they were forced to cancel and I was not about to spend the money on Triptykon, so I was bummed out bout being stuck at home. I got to the bar at 10 to find out one of the openers was playing. I didn't really pay attention, so I went and picked up a four loko and chilled at the car till my friend showed up. We went inside and Fetus Eaters finally went on around 1130 or so. I always love seeing them live. Its been over two years since I saw them last, so I really excited bout it. I grabbed a set list that fell off the stage.

Meat Shits were up next. This was the third time I have seen them. The first time was with Anal Cunt and they were fucking awful. They had shown up late and played after AC and Rob was so drunk he passed out during the first song. The second time made up for it by having Rob show up sober and getting the place going. Well that night was...such disappointed. Well the band sounded great, they played some great sounding songs. Its just...it wasn't the Meat Shits. While they were playing, Robert Deathrage was at home, not singing for them...The bassist was on vocals. They should have advertised it as the Soy Shits, it was really just an imitation of the real thing. No disrespect to the band cause they can put on a show. It would be like seeing Anal Cunt without Seth Putnam, not the same.

Stapled Shut went on at 125am and played for 20 minutes. It was awesome!! I love seeing a power violence/grind band that has a fucking DJ with them. They sounded great!!

ugh i really wanted to go to this but i dont have my ID. Kinda glad i didnt since it wasnt the real meat shits. Stapled shut/Fetus Eaters play at blvd often so ill be seeing them soon. Both great bands. And BruceXCampbell are a very great band. You need to check em out.

I hate the Meat Shits so much. I don't even know why, since I listen to all sorts of hateful music, but their homophobia and sexism is just horrible. Robert Deathrage is a fucking asshole too, and when I saw they at Murderfest it was an abysmal performance, made worse by the lineup or random obese Mexicans who would periodically sing and do the whole 'hip-hop dance'-while singing thing. Bands with multiple singers annoy me already, but with that style music is beyond stupid. Gah, I hated it. I kind of hate 90% of pornogrind though..

It's doesn't offend me, and it's not the subject so much as the way it's delivered. It's not even clever or funny, titles Sniper At the Fag Parade or Violence Against Feminist Cunts are just dumb. It's like I angered by the totally unfunny, unintelligent bigotry.
