View Full Version : Halloween Hootenanny & Black Label Berzerkus -- Columbia, MD -- October 17th, 2010

The "Halloween Hootenanny" tour (Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Murderdolls) and the "Black Label Berzerkus" tour (Black Label Society, Clutch, Children of Bodom, 2cents) merged into a single concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Here was the running order:

2cents (2nd stage)
Murderdolls (main stage)
Children of Bodom (2nd stage)
Clutch (2nd stage)
Alice Cooper (main stage)
Black Label Society (2nd stage)
Rob Zombie (main stage)

I missed 2cents and most of Murderdolls. The couple songs from Murderdolls that I did hear didn't leave a good impression. Bodom were one of the main attractions for me, and they didn't disappoint. Their set felt a little short, but I guess all the bands had to cut their set times for this show.

Children Of Bodom
Silent Night, Bodom Night
Hate Me!
Living Dead Beat
Angels Don't Kill
In Your Face
Hate Crew Deathroll

I got some food and beer during Clutch's set. I'm not too familiar with them, but what I heard from a distance sounded good. The only song I recognized was "Burning Beard". Alice Cooper was up next and he totally rocked. I had seen him before back in 2007 and I enjoyed that show, but this one was much better. He definitely should've headlined this show rather than Zombie.

Alice Cooper
School's Out
No More Mr. Nice Guy
I'm Eighteen
Wicked Young Man
Ballad Of Dwight Fry
Go To Hell
Cold Ethyl
From The Inside
Black Widow Jam
Vengeance Is Mine
Dirty Diamonds
Billion Dollar Babies
I Love The Dead
Feed My Frankenstein
Under My Wheels

Black Label Society were next and they were another one of the main attractions for me. Absolutely perfect setlist considering the time they were allotted. The songs from the new album absolutely killed, especially "Overlord".

Black Label Society
The Beginning... At Last
Crazy Horse
What's in You
Parade of the Dead
Fire It Up
Guitar Solo
Godspeed Hell Bound
Suicide Messiah
Concrete Jungle

I left halfway through Zombie's set. He had a pretty cool stage show, but his set was kind of anticlimactic after BLS and Alice Cooper. Plus I had already seen him twice before.

Rob Zombie (incomplete)
Jesus Frankenstein
Scum of the Earth
Living Dead Girl
More Human Than Human
Sick Bubble-Gum
Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)

Pictures coming later. Also, I got the setlists from Bodom & BLS so I will post scans of those too.

Clutch and Rob Zombie are my two favorite live acts. Seeing them on the same night would make my head explode, even having to sit through COB, BLS, Murderdolls, and 2cents. Alice would have been cool too though.
