Every single time someone posts a new one I wonder if it's one of the several old threads back from the dead.

Yellowcard is a guilty pleasure. and i'll probably get shit for this but so is LMFAO (the group that made the hits "Shots" and "I'm in LA Bitch." their music is lame and not supposedly to be taken seriously and it's a lot of fun to listen to when partying. and i listen to them often usually right before i'm about to go to a party or whatever drinking social occasion.

oh yeah and i also listen to Shwayze but i wouldn't consider it a guilty pleasure.

 That's one of PE's best songs evar - and not just because of the Slayer sample.

Public Enemy is the ONLY rap group that is qualified to sample Slayer, though. Maybe Ice-T.

Hahaha...sometimes rap and metal go together like peanut butter and jelly.
But i like public enemy anyway, still this is pretty badass

It's good,I agree with the lyrics 100%. My favorite PE song is Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos.
I don't really listen to rap. Public enemy and Eminem is all I have for rap, but is it safe to say Chuck D is the best rapper ever.

I'm so into billboard now. I listen to Kiss FM pretty much everyday when I drive. Wouldn't call it a guilty pleasure either, I usually blast music so loud that pedestrians have a good chance of hearing it.

He also now has an "Our Lady Peace" avatar. It seems like he just picks bands at random to like and hate.

My guilty pleasure is industrial music... Like Combichrist, Tacticsl Sekt, VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, and Velvet Acid Christ.
:eyes:
I get so much shit for listening to industrial lol so I had to delete a lot of it from my iTunes.

I think these threads are stupid because I listening to non-metal as often as metal, so I think the concept of "guilty pleasures" is close-minded. But I'm glad I clicked on it...so I could lol.

Guilty Pleasure of mine, btw.....Adam Lambert. :eyes:

Not really. If you had posted in the other ones, one of which was less than 2 months old, it's not like people would have ignored the post.

I don't get how any of you guys are labeling Public Enemy as "Guilty Pleasure"??? I assumed Guilty pleasure is enjoying music from bands and musicians that are looked down upon or seen as being shitty and just plain bad. Public Enemy is the total opposite of that!! They where a revolutionary hip hop group of the 1980s and one of my favorite hip hop groups growing up in high school *Not to mention I was lucky enough to see them perform in concert 3-4 years ago....shiiiiiiit. I didn't know guilty pleasure these days meant feeling bad for enjoying good ass music:cool:
