Venue: Emo's (Indoor Stage)

Infected Nations
We Who Are About To Die
Thrasher :rocker:
Now Demolition
Enter The Grave :horns:

When I got to the venue Lions of Tsavo was playing their final song. I'm not too familiar with their material, so I couldn't tell you what they played. But, they sounded good and I would've liked to hear more, which shouldn't be hard since they're a local band.

Up next was Bonded By Blood. Again, I don't know their stuff well, but from what I've listened to I liked them live much more than on recording. This is straight up thrash. These guys bring a ton of energy to the stage and got a good portion of the small crowd headbanging. Solid live show.

The band I came to see, Evile, followed. This was my first time seeing the English gentlemen and they put on a great show. Ol Drake was great to watch shred up close. Even though the crowd was only about 30 strong on a Sunday night Evile got a strong response. They mentioned that they want to do a headline tour in the US soon and to spread the word about the band to friends. I really would have loved to hear a couple more songs, but they put on a good enough show that I would be willing to catch them again. Thrasher sounded great live and was probably my favorite song of the night.

I stuck around for the first couple Early Man songs, but they just aren't up my alley and it was after midnight and I was ready to head home.

Here's a video I shot of Evile:

Five songs? Damn.

I'm seeing this tour in a few weeks and I'm stoked out of my mind for Evile and BBB.

Can't wait to see 'em in December at the Whiskey. Will be the 3rd time seeing them this year, but yeah, I was hoping they would have changed their setlist up a bit more from the Kreator and Overkill spring tours...
