So this one of the 2 metal shows as part of the pop montreal event, the shows was confirmed really last minute about a week ago, So i was really exited about seeing the Waste again. This show was actually free with free beer tickets at the entrance and since some of my friends don't drink, i got a whole lot of that lol.

Second show is Immolation/Vader Sunday :P

The opening band for MW was Negative Approach. I did not know them, but most of the crowd sure did. i enjoy old school hardcore so these guys were great for me, i'll have to check out their stuff now.

Then MW got on stage. Not much to say there, MW are always great and always a super fun show. Cirple pits, people with surfboards, etc. Tony crowd-surfed on one of the boards. I guess entries were very limited the venue felt barely half-full, i wanna say 350 people, IF that, on a venue that holds just under a thousand. But it was cool.

So i dont remember the whole set, much less the order it was played but i got most of it.

-(Dont remember the opener thats so bad lol)
-Headbanger Face Rip
-Blood Drive
-Accelerated Vision
-Beer Pressure
-Wolves of Chernobyl
-Terror Shark
-Thrashing of the Christ
-Black Ice/I want to kill the president
-Bass Solo
-Acid Sentence
-Sadistic Magician
-Mind Eraser
-Unleash The Bastards
-Wrong Answer
-Born to Party

----------------

-The Art of Partying

i think besides the opener i'm missing another song, otherwise it looks about right. I dont remember hearing songs from the first record either. They only played about 40-45mins. I would've taken more but i guess people were getting tired anyway, the pit was getting pretty weak at the end.

it was cool because it was free and stuff, but like there were not very many metal heads...it was more or less full of people who were attending because they worked for the magazine company that organized the night it i guess... it was still fun though

well i did say i missed a couple songs but i really dont recall masked by delirium at all..hum..

i was in the pit for pretty the whole time also hence my comments on it.

but its true there werent a lot of metalheads, it was kind of unclear as to how get on the guestlist, and with no confirmations too..crowd had nothing to do with the last time they came as headline, now that was a show!

They're supposed to play Nashville in November but I think they're opening...Strike Anywhere is supposedly headlining. I can't find out who's actually headlining though there's no real good info online.

EDIT:

Finally they posted info...they're headlining. I was so disappointed because I saw them in Atlanta around October/November in 2008 and 2009 at the Drunken Unicorn but they're not playing this year...I moved to Nashville so this is perfect. :)

arg i need to see Waste headline again. Seiing them open up doesnt do them justice.
