If nothing else is announced, I might have to make it down for the NYC show. I must see them again!

Mmmm good stuff. I'm sure there will be a tour and not just a few scattered dates. They actually have the popularity to support a full-ish (20 date) US tour, so I'm sure they'll do so. There's a rumor going around that the new album will be out by Christmas. I have no confidence it's true, but we'll see. Certainly they're getting close to being able to set deadlines if they're booking a tour. They never disappoint live.

Edit: Ugh, fuck VIP tickets that get you early entry. I'm getting really sick of that crap.

Well on Jaxx Nightclub's website in Springfield VA Symphony X has been in the "Upcoming Shows" section for like 6 months now so I guess you can add that.

will be at the LA date for sure. although to be honest i think the Wiltern is waaaay too big for Symphony X.

Sweet. Definitely going to the Wiltern show. I saw them on their last (I think) US headlining tour and it was pretty fun. I hope they play The Odyssey or Through The Looking Glass.

hoping a tour by Sym X gets to my area but highly unlikely. probably will have to make a trip back to AZ for this show (they went there last two tours so likely they will go back again).

But this seems good.

If this is for a tour and there's a local date, I'm there, as I've missed them all the past times they've been in the area.

They were talking, for a little while atleast, to one of the guys that books at Club Hell about doing a date in Providence in November as part of a mini-tour to get out of the studio. It's pretty safe to say that isn't happening anymore, but I would love to see them get booked at Hell next time they come through, it's such a great place to see a show.

This is another band I want to see really, really badly. I loved Paradise Lost.

Hope they come to DFW. I've seen them once but I'd love to see them again.

WTF? i love Symphony X but the venue they are playing at holds about 3,000 and they're charging $55 (charges included) for floor and $45 for seats.

do promoters honestly think this show is gonna sell? i saw them at House of Blues Hollywood back in '08 and that show had a good amount of people. but tickets were only $30 (charges included) and the HOB is also about 3-4x smaller than the Wiltern. i don't know what promoters were thinking booking them at a venue that size with that ticket price.

that being said, i'm still going. support bands better be fucking ace though.

Damn. Tickets to the show in VA in 08 were $27.

tickets to shows in AZ were just 20 bucks :D

Yeah, all 4 Symphony X shows I've gone to have had very reasonable ($18-25) ticket prices. If they have practically doubled in price I will be quite upset. Still going either way though.

I'd absolutely love it if they came to Toronto... haven't seen them since Gigantour a few years ago, and a headlining set would be dreamy.
