The correct date is the 23rd NOT the 24th. Mistake on my part. <---

Not exactly a metal band but they use elements of metal in several songs and they are seriously one of the most metal non-metal bands out there (seriously the song Assassin is more metal than half the shit that comes from "real" metal bands)
I see a bunch of non metal bands setlists posted here so I decided to post this. :finger:

Uprising
Resistance
New Born
Map of the Problematique
Supermassive Black Hole
Hysteria :rocker:
Nishe
United States Of Eurasia
Feeling Good (Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley cover)
Helsinki Jam
Undisclosed Desires
Starlight
Plug In Baby :rocker:
Time Is Running Out :rocker:
Unnatural Selection :shred:

Encore:
Exogenesis: Symphony, Part 1: Overture
Stockholm Syndrome :shred: :rocker:
Knights of Cydonia :shred: :rocker:

One of the greatest live performances I have ever seen. No band I have ever seen has matched production values combined with performance. Amazing lighting and their three pillars on the stage is the most awesome thing I have ever seen live. I can also die happy because I seen Map of the Problematique live

This set will get so much shit for being here, but the show was awesome! The two Hendrix jams were sick. I was in the center, front row, directly behind the band...Sound was shitty cause there were no speakers on my side. There were occasionally a few cool moments when the band turned around and came within feet of me, but most of the show consisted of them looking away. The set could have been a lot better. I was really excited for the show after seeing the double encore sets they recently did in England with some gems in it. I was so pissed when I got the same exact set as I did when I saw them in Vegas

One of the 5 best shows I have ever seen (Saw them in March in Detroit). Setlist was mostly the same, though I don't think we got Map....

2 people posted this on dvdtalk, and i got a laugh

"but what set me off for some reason (so much so that I think I'm done going to Muse shows after going consistently for over a decade now) were all the fucking Twi-tard teeny boppers at the show who have obviously become fans after Muse showed up on the Twilight soundtrack. I swear, I felt like a chaperon, as most of the kids at the show were probably in pre-school back when I first saw them in 2000."

"Agree with the Twi-hards comment. My girlfriend and I are in our mid 30's and have everything the bands' put out from Showbiz to even their UK biography. There were so many confused faces when they played "New Born" and "Plug in Baby" ...not to mention "Feeling Good" I just wanted to slap 'em. "

I think I remember reading this and some dude was like asking for the moderator to take it down. Failure.

Yeah dude in England they usually play like 20+ songs with double encores. A dream of mine would be to see them play at Wembley Stadium :D

Killer set. And WTF about people whining. I've always felt Muse is in many ways very inspired in some part by Iron Maiden. I mean listen real close to the riffs at the end of Knights of Cydonia. Transylvania anyone? They catch alot of shit for the Twilight crap but thats not their fault. One of the few modern bands that I don't hate. Stockholm Syndrome is one of my favorites from them so cool that they played that. Its good to see there are still some new(er) bands that can really play that are getting proper respect and radio play. :rocker:

Apparently the author for the Twilight book is a huge Muse fan and she said a lot of the scenes she wrote had Muse music in mind....so thats how that all happened. There was a lot of young kids who didnt know a lot of the song pre-Resistance. I saw a bunch of people sitting down during Plug In Baby. Very stupid to see dip shit fans like that.:finger2:

wont see this band until they dump most of that garbage from the new album out of their set. album just honks, dont want to sit through those songs. It's a shame bc that stage show looks insane..very impressive.

You know what? I'm sure they will read this post and dump all those songs at your behest.
