First confirmed band: Sunn O)))

They will be performing and curating the Friday, like Tom Fischer did in 2010.

Hell, I'd fly across the ocean just to see Alcest again. Those other bands are icing on the cake.

Do it! Even if you just go to Alcest's day. Count Raven, Pentagram, Wovenhand, Blood Ceremony, In Solitude, Ghost and Soilent Green are all playing that day.

I've always wondered what it would be like seeing Sunn O))) live. Nothing against their music, but it just seems like it would be devoid of energy live.

My friend absolutely hates Sunn O))) on album. He went to see them when they came here early last year and he said it was one of the best performances he's seen. Crushingly heavy.

it's all about the sound and the music. i haven't seen them personally, but i can tell that just by knowing them. the energy comes from the way that the vibrations hit you. i really think it requires a whole other perspective on music to be able to fully get everything out of shows and styles of that nature, i personally love every bit of it.

There are alot of awesome doom bands on this, it would be an experience for sure. I was just recently checking out Cough and they're sweet. Sounds kind of like older Electric Wizard.

This is certainly shaping up to be an interesting festival lineup. I read somewhere that Winterfylleth is playing this, too. Excellent band worthy of checking out for anyone who hasn't already.

:fist: They're fucking great. New one is a little too much like the last one, but they're both good records. Highly worth your time, black metal folks.
