Nah it was the Kali-Fornia Uber Alles 21st Century version.
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised, they usually just do 3 or 4. Too Drunk to Fuck and Police Truck were the best but they were all fantastically done.

Yeah it was still Arnold. He didn't mention Jerry in CUA but he did in some of his rants.

The first band was called Zoltron X I believe and they were a really weird sci-fi themed synth-glam-punk band made up of what appeared to be aging Trekkie transvestites. They weren't bad but the crowd just seemed confused by it all.
La Plebe were next and they were a mix of Mexican music with horns n all and modern punk, sung all in Spanish. Not bad. The crowd loved them and they had quite a few die hard fans in the audience who went nuts. My friend said did a Pogues cover, I'm not sure which one, but it might have been a folk song predating the Pogues. La Plebe seemed to do quite a few traditional folk songs, but it worked just fine.
Jello was amazing and can still pull off singing all the songs and continues to do all of his stage antics with their original energy, despite being much older and much fatter. He even stage dived a few times, one of which ended with him basically going straight to the ground. Jello worked in quite a few political rants akin to his spoken word material, mainly targeting Gavin Newsom, Jerry Brown, Meg Whitman, Robert Gates and Obama. It was the closest I'll ever come to seeing the Dead Kennedys, so that alone made it awesome, but the show would have been great even without those tunes.

I need another Jello show asap! Saw him perform at the El Rey last fall. They did not do Police truck or Too Drunk to Fuck at my show  He made us think we were going to see Kill the Poor but then played a new song instead

Aww that sucks.
I really wish they would throw Moon Over Marin in the set again. I've seen videos of it so I know it can be done...grr....
There's really no room for me to complain though, I love all the DK songs they played. Ideally though I'd love to see more Plastic Surgery Disasters and then at least some Frankenchrist.
