Album is streaming on their myspace.

I'll admit that I haven't heard anything from Kataklysm before Serenity In Fire with the exception of a couple of songs. I loved Serenity in Fire, In the arms of Devastaion, and Prevail, but I listened to Heaven's Venom once, and while there are a couple of really good sections on the album, overall it's a boring album and a pretty big letdown. To me at least. I'll have to listen to it a few more times and in better than myspace quality, but first impression is that i'm dissapointed.

This is an alright album. It doesn't have the standout tracks that I was looking for on Heavens Venom that I thought Prevail had, like Taking the World by Storm. All these songs kind of blend into each other, I have almost all of Kataklysms albums, and this doesn't sound as strong as some past ones have. Kinda disappointed

I will surely give this album a chance whenever I get around to it, but I don't have high expectations after Prevail. And I'm not saying Prevail was bad, it just wasn't up to the standards that Kataklysm has set with previous albums.

I like In the Arms of Devastation, but thats about it. I'll check this out, but my hopes aren't high.

EDIT - Also, the cover sucks. They sold they were going to use the Heartbeast for their album covers after ITAOD, but they could never recapture the coolness of it.
