Did anyone who attended see a lot of professional cameras up on stage during their performance? I'm wondering because that would indicate the possibility of it being broadcast live which could lead to a pro recorded bootleg of the show. Thanks. :) But then again, haven't there been cameras on stage at every show for the video screens?

A live DVD isn't being recorded until next year (http://forum.maidenfans.com/index.php?topic=19838.0), but Wacken is known to broadast their shows live over TV so I was hoping that would be the case with Maiden.

There is usually a Wacken DVD with several pro-shot songs from bands on it.

There will be bootleg of Maiden at Wacken that will be pro-shot. I guarantee it.

This was available for MONTHS before they put it on the Wacken DVD, and I think this is the same boot they're using for their Blashyrkh DVD as well.

The full sets are usually broadcast on pay-per-view, which makes them hard to get hold of.

There will be a highlights programme at some point with one or two songs by several of the major bands. These are usually the same songs that will be on the compilation triple DVD, which won't be out until next year. The 2009 DVD only just came out.

Too bad It's going on right now. I'm going to Deutschland later this month and I'd love to be there. Just got my passport in the mail today.

There was no streaming of the show. (http://www.wacken.com/en/woa2010/main-news/news/ansicht/article/kein-live-stream-beim-woa-2010/) But it doesn't say they didn't record it in anyway. They released last year's Festival (http://www.wacken.com/en/woa2010/main-news/news/ansicht/article/live-at-wacken-2009-dvd-ab-dem-05082010-erhaeltlich/) just this month, so it seems like there is a trend.

And I'm not gonna lie, for the longest time I thought that Ravenheart's icon was Freakazoid...

Thanks BoB. That's kind of a bummer. Also, I see last year's festival only has 1 song from all the bands. Oh well.

Hmmmmm, I wonder what this means:
Of course the video walls will show the live performances again.

Hmmmmm, I wonder what this means:

IT means they have screens on the stages. Same as every major festival.
