They aren't big enough to play Regency. Not by a long shot. WTF?

True, but they're playing some other fairly big places. It's on a Saturday so if there's nothing better to do and it's cheap... I'll think about going. Also didn't ADD say "check out Mount Carmel" a while back?

10/19 date added to calendar instantly. K2B's new one is fucking fantastic. The Sword has a new one coming out, and I expect it will be good as well. Plus, I just checked out Mount Carmel on MySpace and they are great! This show promises to be absolutely dripping with stoner-y goodness!

I am going to try make the show on 10/17. The tickets are cheap and with Boston being only 20 minutes away and I have wanted to see The Sword for a while it seems like a real possibility.

Record Bar is probably the nicest concert venue I've ever been to and for a metal show, it definitely sounds the best. You should try and make a show there sometime.

I've seen pictures of Record Bar and always thought it looked nice. I'd still argue the nicest concert venue b/c of the Midland but still it does look pretty nice as well. Sometime I hope to make it up for one.

Yeah, Midland is great. But Record Bar is way more intimate and have actual restaurant quality food you can order during the show! :O

Yea I knew it was more intimate, i'm sure I'd love it regardless. There really isn't any venue I hate up in KC either way. I'm pretty easy to impress.

Davey's Uptown Rambler's Clup looks sketch as hell. That's probably the only venue I'd think twice about.

I've seen only 2 shows at the Record Bar: Weedeater and Valient Thorr, and both bands sounded amazing.

Wish these guys would come to Montreal. I saw them open for In Flames a few years ago but that's it.
