I wonder if that would've been the set for the summer shows that never came to be :(

Why oh why did they have to wait until Ronnie died before they busted out Country Girl and Turn Up The Night? I wonder if this was the set they were originally planning on doing with Ronnie this summer?

I still wouldn't mind hearing a boot of this show. I'm intrested in how Jorn sounded with the band as I think he'd be a good singer for Tony, Geezer and Vinny to do some original stuff with in the future.

Damn. Turn up the Night? my favorite Dio/Sabbath song.

I hope they recorded it for a DVD.

Everything was filmed on the main stage... what becomes of it, who knows.

Both singers sounded AMAZING. Jorn was as you'd expect; born to sing Dio songs. Glenn really surprised me. He nailed practically everything (just fucked up the lyrics on Neon Knights).

Anselmo is so out of place.

He was just singing backing mainly. Joined in on a couple of choruses and one verse with Glenn (which Glenn fucked up). He sounded pretty decent.

Anselmo is so out of place. There was a time when he could've slayed this kind of stuff. He USED to have an amazing voice.

He still does. Just not the high end stuff anymore. For this he pretty much stuck to his southern vocals, no screaming.

I doubt he'll play any of these songs ever again, sadly.

Would you really wanna hear them bust that out again for the first time in 18 years without Dio on vocals? I know I wouldn't at all. That's why even though it's cool they did all of CG and TUTN at this show it's not the way I would've wanted to hear these two after such a long absence from the set:(

Oh yeah, I saw Sabbath play Master Of Insanity back on the Dehumanizer tour in 1992 and it was awesome:rocker:
