Van Halen is going to tour in 2011 with a reunited Triumph. VH is definitely going to tour and I hear Triumph are the likely main support act. Probably going to be a opening band too.

I would go see that. Rik Emmett back in the day was the most underrated guitarist on the planet. he blew me away on the Thunder 7 Tour.

I remember KK Downing was my favorite guitarist then I saw Glenn Tipton smoke him then Rik Emmett smoke both of them put together. Good times...

Ah yes Van Halen..the first band I saw live..May 08 at JPJ Arena. I had tickets allllll the way in the back, but it was still a good show for me.

That's the exact reason I didn't go see them when they did the last couple tours with DVR. Well, that and the lack of a certain bassist.

I would really like to see Triumph again. The only time I got to see them was without Rik Emmett.

You better go this time because DVR can record way more than he did 2-3 years ago

I'll probably go again, it was pretty expensive even for shitty seats but it felt like it was worth it. Even better if Triumph is opening.

That'll finally satisfy all the US/Canadian fans who were pissed Sweden got the only Triumph show of the last few years.

Looks like Triumph haven't even been formally approached yet. It's a LiveNation idea and nothing's been agreed.

Rik Emmett: "We’re scheduled to go for a dinner tonight with a couple of guys from Live Nation that have flown into town and want to take us to dinner. I’m sure there’s going to be some sort of a pitch. The rumors that have been sort of blowing in the wind are that VAN HALEN want to go back out yet again next year, but they’re going to need some sort of support to make the packaging a little more interesting. Because Triumph hasn’t really ever toured in any kind of a nostalgia way, I think Live Nation kind of goes, 'Oh, yeah, you guys would be perfect for that.' So, we’ll see sort of the size and the shape and the glitter of the golden carrots that they have."

The man got to see Eddie Van Halen play guitar for, what, 2 hours im guessing? Regardless of the singer I would pay for that. The mans the god of shredding!

Lol, I wouldn't mind seeing them with him. Their best songs are with Diamond Dave though.

Van Hagar. Ewwww.

Hey dude, Hagar sang the shit outta those songs live. Granted, he is no DLR, but the man has a lot of energy, plus Eddie did an extra long solo that night cause it was the last ever show at that arena. It was amazing

I do like the David Lee Roth era but I am I the only one thinks that the Hagar era completley destroys everything from the Roth era.
