I think most people here who are in school have probably been scheduled for a while now, and people who are going to be new college students in the fall have probably all been to their orientations by now, so let's jive about schedules and whatnot per tradition.

This fall I'm taking:
J300 - Communications Law (Honors)
J375 - Race, Gender, and Media
J261 - Globalization and the Media
A255 - The Black Church in America
H309 - The South Before the Civil War
H324 - Zionism and the State of Israel

First three should be a cake walk seeing as they're in my major and I'm pretty good at stuff in that department at this point. The Black Church is in the African American and Diaspora Studies department, I'm sure I'll be the only white person in my class which will be an enlightening experience I think. The history classes I'm going into with an open mind, but I fucking hate the South and I fucking hate Israel, so we'll see. And I just saw that H309 has the Frederick Douglass diary and Uncle Tom's Cabin as required reading, so it's probably going to be taught at about a 10th grade level. :tp:

I'm on quarters, so I don't take as many classes.

Comm 367 - Persuasive Writing
Econ 444 - Econometrics
Spanish 102.66 (I have to take that, 103, and 104 this year.)

Plus I'm staying busy with my public affairs living-learning community, my hall council, associate director of political events for student government, Undergraduate Economics Society, College Democrats, volunteering with campaigns, and hopefully working as a page in the Ohio Senate.

Haha, yeah it doesn't sound so bad, but honestly if I had my way, I'd be in a lot more sciencey classes and a lot less general education/humanities/required type classes. :eyes:

Yet another semester with no school for me. :(

I swear, I will NOT be in this situation at this time next year. Not that I NEED to be going to school, but if I'm not, I need to have a strong sense of direction toward something else in my life.

Apush is pretty difficult. You have to be a great writer to do well

Honors Chemistry is challenging but mostly fine

Honors English was my hardest course, as was it for everyone else in my class

You're taking trig in Junior year? I took algebra 2 in Junior year

I took honors World so I don't know about AP world, but I can tell you it's far more interesting than US. I got a solid/high A in honors but honor's obviously much, much easier than AP.

I don't remember my biology grade but I think I got the same grade as I did in Chem for most of the year

8 AM? I think the teacher should yell a bunch of random ethnic slurs just to wake everybody up.

I'm hoping for a 4. I got a 5 on my class final exam (same format as national exam) but I'm sure my teacher grades easier than the national graders.
