damn. covering Clapton and Hendrix? Clearly this is not one of those close-minded "back in my day" blues guys.

He always covers those tracks. Has been for decades. He always covers, for some reason, only tracks from the 60s and 70s, but all his own songs he plays are from the 90s onwards. Barely ever plays any of his own 60s stuff.

I'm not entirely sure I approve of a 90-minute set with more covers than originals from a guy who's been playing for over 40 years...

Luckily I do not live far from the club he owns in chicago. I'm not sure if he has others but on a lucky night when he is there, which is more then I figured he will play some older stuff. But I do kinda hate how he does play new stuff. but boom boom is an older song. Gotta love it in blues brothers.
