Well, there will be one, according to their Myspace. In September of this year.

So far:

Sept. 3 - ATP NY Festival w/ The Stooges, Sonic Youth, Explosions In The Sky, etc.
Sept. 11 - Music Fest NW @ Portland, OR - Roseland Theater (W/ YOB & Scott Kelly)

They're performing all of Holy Mountain on these dates.

:stoned:

I know they've played parts of Dopesmoker since they've gotten back together, but I don't think they've played the whole thing since the 90s

That would likely be the last time I ever get high, because everything afterward would be a disappointment.

Damn you for getting me excited. I know there will be at least 1 date between Oakland/SJ/SF, it's just a matter of when.

I hope Sleep realizes that there's enough genuine interest in them that they don't have to be a destination/nostalgia band and do really weird routed dates like this a lot. I'm praying for more dates.

AHAHAHAHAHA OH SHIT I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE LICHENS AT FIRST.

Oh God. I saw him when he opened up for Explosions in the Sky and he was just at the line between tolerable and "I want to kill this boring motherfucker" set of mind. Sleep fans aren't going to like him at all, methinks.

I don't know how destination and nostalgia are connected by a slash. NY-CHI-LA-SF is pretty much what they said they would be doing.

Well it would mean the 3rd in NY, 4th in LA and 7th in Philly.
It happens to fall within the same 2 weeks they're touring, but the way the dates are lined up it seems half-retarted.
